Inlay: A procedure similar to a filling and lies inside the cusp tips of the
tooth. They are custom-made to fit the prepared cavity and are then cemented
into place.

Onlay: A more extensive reconstruction than an inlay that covers one or more
cusps of a tooth. They are custom-made to fit the prepared cavity and are
cemented into place. However, more of the tooth structure can be conserved
compared to the placement of a crown.

Bridge: Also known as a fixed partial denture, this
restoration replaces several teeth making it more ideal to chew & maintain
facial structure.

Maryland Bridge: This restoration consists of a metal
framework with a porcelain tooth baked on to the front of the framework. The
framework then ends up as a false tooth with two metal wings on the side.

Veneers: A thin shell of porcelain that is custom fit over
natural teeth, (usually front teeth) which like bonding can change the shape
of a tooth or close unsightly gaps.
